Biotek Ephedrine HCL Directions To Use
Children below the age of 12 do not advise Biotek Ephedrine HCL for use. If need arises, the physician
should be consulted before using this drug. Children
above 12 years of age and adults can take a tablet orally
every 4 hours.
The maximum in a day is 6 tablets, or
as per the physician’s instructions. However,
it is not recommended to exceed 6 tablets per day. Relief
should be experienced within an hour of taking this
medication. However, if there is no relief in its symptoms
in an hour, or if symptoms worsen, medical assistance
should be sought immediately and the medication stopped.

HCL Warnings and Side Effects
The physician in the patient should not use Biotek Ephedrine
HCL if there is no diagnosis of asthma. It
is not advised to be used either by people having heart
disease, diabetes or high blood pressure. People suffering
from thyroid disease and those who have enlarged prostrate
glands who find it difficult to urinate should not use Biotek Ephedrine HCL unless advised by physician.
This product is also not advised to be used by those
who have been hospitalized for treatment of asthma or
for those taking any prescription drug for asthma treatment.
In such cases, physician’s directions are needed
to start this product.
There have been complaints of
nervousness, sleeplessness, tremors, nausea and loss
of appetite with some users of Biotek Ephedrine HCL.
Persistence of the symptoms, and its worsening should
be consulted with the physician. Cases of accidental
overdoses should be referred to the doctor or a poison
control center immediately. If pregnant or nursing,
it is better to consult with a health professional before
start using this drug. Biotek Ephedrine HCL should not be taken with other medications containing
Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitor that is used for depression,
Parkinson’s disease and psychiatric conditions.
